Starlink

 is a satellite-based internet service developed and operated by SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk. Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency broadband internet using a constellation of thousands of satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), delivering connectivity to homes, businesses, and remote areas worldwide, including Nigeria.

In January 2023, Starlink received operational approval from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), becoming the first satellite internet service provider licensed to offer broadband services directly to consumers in Nigeria. The service enables users to enjoy fast and reliable internet access, even in regions underserved by traditional fiber or mobile networks.
